Cancellation and Refund Policy*
Refunds will be processed within 30 days after the request was received. For as long as the Online Course has not been started by the participant, cancellation requests for online classes will receive a full refund or can be transferred to a live class, less a $50 administrative fee. If you wish to withdraw after taking the first session, you can do so before taking the second session with a refund of 70% of your paid tuition. After you start taking the second class, there will be no refund. Cancellation requests received 21 days prior to a live seminar will receive a full refund, less a $50 administrative fee. Cancellation requests received after that time will be non-refundable, but fully transferable to an online class, less a $50 administrative fee.
Acceptance of Terms and Release*
I understand that the material presented is under copyright and I agree not to record, reproduce, share or transmit the material in any manner without written permission from SPIRITS in Transition / Ella Bittel. I am at least 18 years of age, or have sent a notice of approval of my parent or legal guardian and have been registered by someone 18 years or older. I understand that the online class homework I submit may be used, without my name and without compensation, for educational purposes. I understand that payment of the online course fee gives me access to the class for 3 months or until completed, whichever comes first. I understand that any SPIRITS in Transition certificates do NOT indicate certification degrees or licensing by US state or federal agencies, but confirm my attendance and completion of a live or online class. I understand that the contents of the weekend seminar/online classes are not intended as a substitute for veterinary care. I understand that by participating in SPIRITS in Transition courses I am engaging in a topic that has the potential of being emotionally challenging. I confirm that I am in generally good health and am capable of participating in the SPIRITS in Transition course, and that the information I have given is true and factual. SPIRITS in Transition / Ella Bittel reserve the right, at their discretion and without explanation, to keep a person from starting or continuing with a course. Any refunds will be handled on a case by case basis at their discretion. Tallgrass Publishers, SPIRITS in Transition, Ella Bittel, hosts and agents may not be held responsible for travel arrangement cancellations caused by weekend seminar cancellations due to weather or any other reasons, or for online class electronic transmission failure beyond our control. Submission of this form denotes that all information provided by the registrant is accurate, and acceptance of the above terms and release.
